PERSONALIZED DATA

At NutritionRx, we’re huge data nerds, and many of our clients love collecting detailed insights about their health.

That’s why we include personalized data options like a Diet Analysis ($100 value) and a BOD POD body composition scan ($67 value) in our Nutrition Transformation and Nutrition + Mindset Reboot programs.

Not part of one of those programs? No problem! You can still purchase these as add-ons to the Quick Tune-Up package to get deeper insights and make more informed, personalized decisions to reach your goals faster.

INSURANCE / BENEFITS COVERAGE

Download our: Insurance Receipts FAQ

All NutritionRx Registered Dietitians are licensed under the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Nutrition services are not covered by provincial health plans at this time (i.e. we are not “OHIP covered”). However, dietitian/nutritionist services may be partially or fully covered by your extended health insurance plan.

The coverage for each insurance company is different; please check your plan to see what coverage is available for this type of service (i.e. dietitian coverage per session or per year). We do not direct bill to insurance companies but will provide you with a detailed receipt you can submit that includes:

  • our Registered Dietitian license number
  • detailed description of service
  • date of the nutrition counselling session
  • the consulting fee breakdown per visit

Individual insurance receipts can be provided at each session to break down the nutrition package cost appointment-by-appointment for reimbursement purposes with your insurance provider.

If your plan does not cover the services of a Registered Dietitian, save your receipt. In the province of Ontario, Registered Dietitians are classified as Authorized Medical Practitioners and nutrition counselling paid for out-of-pocket counts towards your total medical expenses. Based on your income level, you may qualify for a non-refundable tax credit from the government when you file your taxes.
