Body Fat Percentage Testing in a BOD POD (January & February 2013)
BODY FAT PERCENTAGE TESTING / BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS
Instead of tying to “lose weight” this January, why not make a better New Years resolution to focus on changing the quality of the weight you carry. Plain and simple, that means putting effort into losing body fat and gaining lean muscle, instead of tracking a number on the scale. But how do you measure this new goal to know if your efforts with diet and exercise are successful? Well, that’s where body composition testing in a BOD POD comes in handy!
A BOD POD allows you to accurately track changes in your body fat percentage, fat-free percentage, pounds of lean muscle mass, and pounds of fat mass relative to your body weight. Body composition testing is a great way to validate the hard work you have been putting into your nutrition and exercise program, and can show “before” and “after” results regarding fat loss.
If you are interested in pursuing body composition testing, there is specialized equipment at Western University in London, Ontario that is being opened up to the public for two evenings only for testing. Details are below:
